First Lady Angela Scruggs

First Lady Angela Scruggs is a native of Franklin, Louisiana. She was educated in the public school system of Louisiana and graduated from Franklin Senior High School. First Lady has a zest for furthering her education which is evident in her personal educational goals: She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Computer Science and Mathematics. She also holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Information Systems with a Concentration in Computer Security. In 2008 she was selected to participate in a Leadership program through the United States Air Force that prepares employees for future Leadership roles within the Department of Defense.
As a co-laborer in the ministry with her husband, Pastor James Scruggs, Senior Pastor/Founder of Deliverance Christian Connection Ministry (DCCM). Lady Angela is the Director of Women’s Ministries where she provides leadership to the Ladies of Love (LOL) women’s ministry and New Member Orientation.
Delivered
Her love of the Lord and His Word is evident to all she encounters. Her vision is to disciple and encourage women with the Word, equipping them to be steadfast and evangelistic in their walk, anchored in prayer. Her life scripture of “For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love, and discipline” (2 Tim 1 :7) enables her to be used by God as a vessel that someone may come to know
Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

In addition to being a godly helpmate to Pastor Scruggs, she is the blessed mother of 4 children: James Jr., Deja, Maurice, and Alexia. As a wife, mother, woman of God, and leader she enjoys serving and encouraging her family, the lives of church members, and her community.
